h1. Z2-Environment version 2.6

The goal for 2.6 is
* adopt simplification measures implemented in 3.0:
** the roots repo
** the relative fs - repo
** drop the HomeLayout and simply bind worker processes to home target states.
* Support Java 9 (#1991, [[Java9_Support]]
h2. Notes
** Adopt compile and runtime rules of the module system (affecting the class loader and compiler use)
* Version 2.6 will only support running on Java 9 (due to support of Layers)
