Description

Currently, Z2 synchronization relies on propagation of invalidations and target state re-attaining via message sending to worker processes. Several places assume that a running Z2 environment has an active home layout. In an embedding scenario this may not be valid. Hence no code should make a strong assumption on an active home layout.
